: To make Çakallı Menemen, first place a pan on the stove burning on high heat.

Add butter to the pan and then add one sweet green pepper, excluding the core, which is finely chopped.

While the butter is melting and the green peppers are roasting, peel the tomatoes with a knife and after the butter melts (1.5 - 2 minutes later), tomatoes sliced at most 1 cm thick are added to the pan.

Cook the tomatoes in a pan over the stove fire until they boil and release their juices (approximately 2 minutes) and stir them in the pan to ensure that they cook homogeneously and do not burn.
