
Kütahya Güveci
Kütahya Stew is a traditional main dish based on slow cooking of meat with vegetables and tomato paste in a clay pot. Since the casserole dish distributes the heat slowly, the meat softens and the juice of the vegetables and tomato paste turns into a thick sauce. It has a strong main dish identity in Kütahya's home and tradesman restaurant tables.

Place the piece of lamb in the casserole dish and lightly salt it.

Chop the onion, pepper and tomato and add them to the meat.

Open the tomato paste with a little hot water and pour it into the casserole.
