Keledoş, one of the most well-known dishes of Hakkari, combines legumes, horseradish, meat and local herbs in the same pot. White beets or locally available herbs give the dish a distinctive green flavor; Complementing it with a sour milk product such as kurut or yoghurt deepens the flavour. It is a long-cooking, strong and sharing mountain table dish.
