Ayran Soup is one of the prominent local flavors in Giresun cuisine. It reflects the character of the city cuisine with the ingredients and cooking method used in the local table culture.

Wheat, chickpeas and beans are soaked separately overnight.

The next day, all three are placed in a pot with cold water and cooked thoroughly.
