Kaçamak, a dish originally from the Balkans, took its place in Edirne cuisine over time. Kaçamak, also known as Mamaliga, is made from corn flour cooked in a special way and topped with various dishes.

Ingredients

  • 5 liters of water
  • minced meat curd cheese
  • molasses or honey

Recipe

    Add water to the pot and add some salt.

    Sprinkle the corn flour into the pot little by little (it is necessary to stir constantly to avoid lumps).
