
Fasulye
Beans are one of the prominent local flavors in Bitlis cuisine. It reflects the character of the city cuisine with the ingredients and cooking method used in the local table culture.
Ingredients

- cumin and salt 1 liter of hot water
Recipe

Dried beans are washed in the evening and kept in salt water, and in the morning they are boiled and the water is drained.

In a separate pot, fry the meat in oil until it releases its juice and evaporates.

Finely chopped onion is added and roasted with the meat until it becomes soft, then the tomato paste is added and mixed twice.

Beans are cooked by adding a liter of hot water, spices and salt until the meat and beans become soft and served hot.
