Ecemi is one of the prominent local flavors in Bitlis cuisine. It reflects the character of the city cuisine with the ingredients and cooking method used in the local table culture.
Ingredients

- grape molasses
- 1 tablespoon butter in walnuts
Recipe

Add the flour into the hot oil little by little and fry until it changes color.

Add molasses and cook over low heat, stirring constantly with the help of a wooden spoon.

After the dessert is cooked and placed on a tray, walnuts are sprinkled on it, allowed to cool, sliced with a knife and served.

This dessert is made in Mutki district under the name Gozbent.
