Çireşli Pilaf is one of the prominent local flavors in Bitlis cuisine. It reflects the character of the city cuisine with the ingredients and cooking method used in the local table culture.
Ingredients

- bulgur for rice 2 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon salt
- hot water For Topping: 1 tablespoon butter

Washed and chopped strawberry is boiled until it becomes soft and placed in a pot.

Add bulgur, butter, 4 glasses of hot water and salt.

Cook at medium heat until the water evaporates and it reaches the consistency of rice.

After the rice is taken off the heat and steeped for 10 minutes, it is served on presentation plates with fried butter poured over it.
